What is Reiki?
The word Reiki means universal life force energy. It is defined as being that power which acts and lives in all created matter. The word consist of two parts. The Rei describes the universal, boundless aspect of this energy while the Ki describes the vital life force energy which flows through all living beings.
The Usui system of Reiki is the most simple and natural healing method and most effective way of transferring this universal life energy.
Once a person has been opened up to become a ‘Channel’ for Reiki, concentrated life energy will flow through his / her hands of its own accord and he / she will retain this ability for the rest of his / her life.

The Reiki method of absent healing was discovered by Dr. Mikao Usui, which can be learnt in second degree Reiki (level II) With this method Reiki will go to the right path to the right person on time and will be as effective as touch Reiki.
What is an Attunement?
Attunement which is also known as Initiations are an essential part of traditional Reiki system. Reiki energy is transferred to the student during An Attunement given by a Reiki Master and allows the student to tap into an unlimited supply of “Life force energy” to improve health and enhance the quality of life. Its use is not dependent on one’s intellectual capacity or spiritual development and therefore is available to everyone.
Who can learn Reiki
Reiki is a Holistic power and is very simple process to learn. It is not necessary to have any prior experience of healing, meditation or another training. It has been successfully taught to millions of people of all ages and backgrounds. During the session one’s inner healing channel will be opened by the Reiki Master through the process of Attunement. Once Attunement is completed by the Master one can start receiving Reiki energy in the body and they can start healing themselves as well as others.
