Karuna Reiki
Karuna Reiki was developed by Reiki Master William L. Rand. He used the symbols and found that these symbols are highly effective. He then meditated on the symbols and was guided to develop the attunement process. He named this new system as Karuna Reiki.
Karuna Meaning
Karuna is a Sanskrit word which means compassion. It also means, when we do something for others to decrease their sufferings, it is also considered as compassion.
Meaning of Karuna Reiki
Karuna Reiki is called as Reiki of Compassion. It is not a traditional form of Reiki and also not an alternative to Usui Reiki. But, the system of healing has been evolved out of the Usui Reiki System. So, when you combine both the modalities of reiki, the vibration is higher.
Karuna Reiki energy helps to release any negative energy that is holding you to move on towards the spiritual path. When you start practising Karuna Reiki, you will start receiving the knowledge on how to forgive yourself and others.
Difference between Usui Reiki and Karuna Reiki
Karuna Reiki has higher vibrations and also faster growth of spirituality. The basic fundamentals are the same as Usui Reiki but the grounding effect is more intense. The symbols are also more effective and powerful. Also, you can achieve the most difficult goals very easily.
How Karuna Reiki Works?
Karuna Reiki works with higher spiritual entities and also deeper level at soul issues. As we start working on Karuna Reiki, we indirectly start developing Karuna within ourselves. We develop habit of helping others and we become more sympathetic towards others. While working with this reiki, the issues are looked into depth so that we can develop ourselves when we get stuck during difficulties.
