What is AshtaLakshmi Reiki?
AshtaLakshmi Reiki was invented by Dr.Chandra. AshtaLakshmi is a group of eight manifestations of Devi Lakshmi, the Hindu Goddess of wealth. She presides over eight sources of wealth. Wealth in the context of AshtaLakshmi means prosperity, fertility, good fortune or good luck, good health, knowledge, strength, progeny and power.
Lakshmi is the Goddess of material wealth, spiritual wealth, power,
money wisdom, luxury, opulence, fertility, generosity, creativity and
courage. She is the embodiment of and conveys beauty, grace and
charm.
Lakshmi, therefore, represents the goal of life, which includes wordly as well as spiritual prosperity. Worship of Lakshmi indicates an appreciation of prosperity and a sense of responsibility towards it.
The word Lakshmi has its origin from the Sanskrit terms:
LakShyam means goal LakShaNaM means aspect; characteristics LakSha means Lakh 100,000 in number, also sight LakShaM means target
